Morning Gratitude Practice
This morning I woke with a clearer head.
Not because life is perfect — but because I paused long enough to notice what is already good.
Sleep.
Warmth.
Breath.
A quiet moment before the day begins.
Gratitude can feel unfamiliar at first. It did for me.
But even a small moment of it changes the atmosphere inside.
It slows the mind.
It softens the body.
It makes the day feel more possible.
I don’t try to force big gratitude.
I look for simple, real things.
And I let that be enough.
Practice (30 seconds)
- Drop your shoulders. Relax your jaw.
- One slow inhale (a little deeper if it feels good).
- One long, controlled exhale.
- Name three simple gratitudes (tiny counts).
- Ask: “What would my best self do next?”
- Do the smallest version of that — calmly.
Slow and steady. 👣
