I Returned Different

I Returned Different After The Walk

This followed the morning reflection where I woke up heavy and chose to move before the mind took over.

I returned very different to how I left.

The walk took me onto a country path.
Birds chirping.
Cool wind.
Sun out.

I wore barefoot shoes so I could feel the ground beneath me.

When I reached the meadow, I took them off and walked barefoot through the grass.

There was an immediate connection.

To myself.
To the ground.
To the world around me.

Midway through the meadow, I stopped and moved.

These were simple Core Moves — not exercise as punishment, but movement as reconnection.

Hip infinity.
Bent-over shoulder drop.
Arm swings.
Neck twists.

Simple reset moves, done slowly, surrounded by countryside and nature.

On the way back, I walked with more openness.
Chest lifted.
Breath steadier.
Body softer.

Then I stood still, hands on heart, and repeated:

Thank you.
I’m grateful to myself.

I left the house heavy.

I returned calm, grounded, and more connected — to myself and to the beautiful world around me.

This is the practice.

This is what I mean by reconnection through movement.

Not escaping emotion.
Not pretending everything is fine.

Moving with it.
Breathing with it.
Letting the body help the mind return.

Slow and steady. 👣
